Principalships

Our schools require Catholic principals who are visionary, faith-filled and skilled in the areas of school leadership, education and management. Applicants will need to provide evidence of the following:

  • an ability to give leadership to the Catholic life of the school in an increasingly interconnected and complex world
  • expertise in school leadership and an ability to inspire a spirit of collaboration with staff, students and parents
  • an ability to lead learning, curriculum development and practices to ensure achievement and enhanced learning outcomes for all students.

2019 Principalship Opportunities

All principalship opportunities at Catholic schools in Western Australia are listed here, so please check regularly.

Applicants need to submit a separate electronic application for each principalship as each application is individually assessed.

Feedback is given to those applicants who are unsuccessful for an initial or second interview from the Principal School Advisor or the Catholic Education Western Australia officer who chaired the interview panel. This will be given after the announcement to the school community and within one month of the appointment being made public.
