Contact us

St Brigid’s Primary School is a double-stream, co-educational school catering for students from Pre-Kindergarten to Year Six. We are proud of our strong community spirit and nurturing pastoral care, which underpin all aspects of school life. Our values of Service, Courage, Acceptance and Peace are embedded in everything we do, guiding the growth and development of every student.

Our School

St Brigid’s Primary School, Middle Swan, was established in 1902 by the Sisters of Mercy to provide a quality Catholic education for families in Midland, Middle Swan and the surrounding communities. Today, St Brigid’s is a double-stream co-educational school catering for approximately 480 students from Pre-Kindergarten to Year Six and includes an on-site Education Support Centre to meet the diverse learning needs of our students. For more than 120 years, St Brigid’s has played a significant role in Catholic education within the Midland region.

At the heart of our school is a strong sense of community, underpinned by authentic pastoral care and meaningful relationships. Within this nurturing environment, staff, parents, and students work in partnership to foster Catholic faith, values and a lifelong love of learning.

Our school staff and parish share a close and collaborative relationship, working alongside the School Advisory Council and Parents and Friends Committee to strengthen and enrich our welcoming Catholic community.

While Literacy and Numeracy remain key priorities, we are equally committed to providing students with opportunities to develop as confident, well-rounded individuals. Students can participate in a range of specialist and enrichment programs, including Science, Humanities and Social Sciences (HASS), Music, Auslan, Physical Education, Choir, and Academic Enrichment.

As a Catholic school, we are a faith-filled community centred on the person of Jesus Christ and His teachings. Students and staff actively participate in the sacramental and liturgical life of the school and parish, while our core values of Service, Courage, Acceptance and Peace are woven through all aspects of school life.
