Parish Religious Education

The Church seeks to nurture the faith of all children who have been baptised.

Therefore, Catholic Education has been mandated by the Bishops of Western Australia to work for the benefit of all Catholic school aged children, regardless of whether or not they go to Catholic schools.

Parishes are offered support so that Catechists can provide a Parish Religious Education Program and preparation for the sacraments to Catholic children who do not attend Catholic schools.

Parish RE Program

Many parishes throughout Western Australia provide a Parish Religious Education Program (PREP) and sacrament preparation to Catholic children who do not attend Catholic schools.
