Student Wellbeing

CEWA > Learning & Wellbeing > Psychology, Safety and Wellbeing > Student Wellbeing

Investing in the wellbeing of children sets them up with a strong foundation to live their best possible life both now and in the future.

The wellbeing of students is enriched when they feel safe, connected to each other, their teachers, their school and engaged in learning. Promoting wellbeing is also fundamental to students being ready to learn and supports optimal academic outcomes.

We are guided by the Wellbeing Strategic Framework, founded on the latest research around systems wellbeing in education. It has been created through extensive dialogue with the collective wisdom of academic leaders in the field of Catholic Identity, wellbeing science, teacher practice, trauma-informed approaches, positive behaviour support, cultural safety and leadership wellbeing.
