Boarding Opportunities in Catholic Education Western Australia Schools

Families in regional areas are invited to access a quality Catholic secondary education at the schools below.

The schools are either specialist boarding schools with onsite boarding or schools that work in partnership with residential hostels or accommodation organisations.

Aquinas College – Salters Point

An all-boys college on the Canning River with an increasing Aboriginal student enrolment and onsite boarding facilities.

Partners with MADALAH to offer scholarships to assist with tuition and boarding costs (info below regarding MADALAH Scholarships). Is approved to offer Abstudy Boarding School Scholarships to assist with tuition and boarding costs.

Aranmore Catholic College – Leederville

A co-ed college in the heart of Leederville with a significant Aboriginal student population with several regional students who board at Rotary Residential College in Victoria Park and ride public transport to school.

Clontarf Aboriginal College – Waterford

A co-ed college on the Canning River with all Aboriginal student enrolment and modern boarding facilities onsite. Clontarf is a Curriculum and Re-engagement in Education School (CARE).

La Salle College – Midland

A co-ed college with a significant Aboriginal student enrolment with about half of the Aboriginal enrolment boarding at nearby Swanleigh Hostel and ride the hostel bus to school.

MADALAH is not for profit organisation established in 2009 and partners with government, business and schools to offer scholarships to Aboriginal students to attend Perth and regional boarding schools. Making A Difference And Looking Ahead’ is what MADALAH stands for, and their goal is to empower students to do just that.

Several Catholic schools partner with MADALAH as scholarship providers. Applications are open now until 31 July 2021 for opportunities in 2022.
