Newman College provides a co-educational learning centre for Pre-Kindergarten to Year 12 students encouraged to grow into the fullness of their humanity in an educational environment where they feel welcomed, accepted and valued.
Our School
Newman College is a Catholic Pre-Kindergarten to Year 12 co-educational College with approximately 1900 students across three campuses in Floreat/Churchlands.
The College Vision for Learning – Shine through Discovery (Let your Light Shine, Matthew 5:16) embodies the four pillars of Learning at Newman College – Challenge, Collaborate, Create, Celebrate. Each student at Newman College is welcomed, valued and called upon to reach their individual potential.
A Marist education encourages students to grow into the fullness of their humanity using Mary as a model. A wide range of learning opportunities enables students of all interests and capabilities to discover a sense of purpose, excitement and fulfilment with their education. Scaffolding individual learning is a personal care structure which enables all students to develop a meaningful relationship with staff who assist with their well-being and progress.
