Contact us

St Brigid's Primary School is a double stream co-educational school offering students from Pre-Kindergarten to Year Six a wonderful community spirit and pastoral care. Our school values of Service, Courage, Acceptance and Peace are embedded in all that we do and we have an Education Support Centre onsite to support student learning.

Our School

St Brigid’s Primary School, Middle Swan was established in 1902 by the Sisters of Mercy to provide a Catholic education to the children of the Midland, Middle Swan and surrounding areas. St Brigid’s is a double stream co-educational school catering approximately 450 students from Pre-Kindergarten to Year Six. We have an Education Support Centre onsite to support student learning. St Brigid’s Primary School has been an integral part of Catholic education in the Midland region since 1902.

We value the wonderful community spirit and pastoral care which permeates all aspects of our school life. It is within this nurturing environment our Parish Priest, parishioners, staff, parents, carers and students work collaboratively to maintain our Catholic practice and deliver a lifelong love of learning.

The school staff and parish enjoy a strong relationship and work closely with the School Board and Parents and Friends Association to create a positive and supportive Catholic community.

While Literacy and Numeracy remain our focus, we are highly committed in ensuring that students are provided with opportunities to grow as a whole person by participating in Music, Italian, Physical Education, Choir, Catholic Performing Arts, Academic Extension, Coding Club, and afterschool clubs such as Netball and Orienteering.

We believe that a Catholic school is a Christian community with a common vision which is centred on the person of Jesus and His teachings. Students and staff participate in the sacramental and liturgical life of the school and parish. Our school values of Service, Courage, Acceptance and Peace are embedded in all that we do.
