St Francis’ School, established in 2015, is a co-educational secondary school that provides a caring and safe environment for local teenagers who, for a variety of reasons, do not attend mainstream schooling and often, through no fault of their own, find themselves educationally marginalised.
Our School
St Francis’ School, is a Catholic Co-Educational Secondary CARE (Curriculum and Re-Engagement) School, located in the heart of Maddington.
The School gives witness to the Catholic Church’s vision to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus in today’s society. Through the work of Catholic Schools, the Church confirms its commitment to work with teenagers who, for a variety of reasons, are educationally marginalised in society and find themselves unable to attend mainstream schools.
St Francis’ School offers a safe, nurturing environment in which students are encouraged to take ownership of their education and be formed as young people committed to love, compassion and justice. The Individualised Learning Plans and supportive policies allow students to develop in ways that meet their individual needs.
The emphasis at St Francis’ School is on Catholic values, underpinned by the School’s core principles of Respect, Responsibility, Belief and Belonging. These principles challenge students to develop a strong sense of personal and community ideals.
Educational programs at St Francis’ School focus on academic and employment qualifications, with a strong emphasis on Literacy and Numeracy to equip students with the skills to succeed in all aspects of their lives.
