St Lawrence Primary School is a single stream school committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive community that values excellence and celebrates the uniqueness of every student.

St Lawrence places a strong emphasis on building meaningful partnerships with parents, recognising that families play a vital role in each child’s learning and wellbeing. Open communication, collaborative engagement and shared aspirations help create a learning environment where students feel supported both at school and at home.

Our rich and engaging curriculum is supported by specialist teaching and targeted intervention programs to meet the diverse needs of students. We also provide a range of structured support programs, including small-group numeracy support and targeted literacy intervention.

Students in Year 6 can also participate in a dedicated STEM program that fosters creativity, collaboration, problem-solving and innovation in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. Meanwhile, enhanced nature play opportunities and a 1:1 iPad program in Years 3-6 help engage and prepare students for future learning.

Established by the Sisters of Mercy in 1960, our school maintains a warm and supportive relationship with the St Lawrence and Mary Immaculate Parish, with regular opportunities for students to participate in Masses, liturgies and the Sacramental Program.
