Traineeships

We offer traineeship opportunities for various career paths in the education sector. Traineeships can run for one to two years and provides trainees with on-the-job experience while working towards gaining accreditation in his/her chosen field.

Cadetships

Cadetship opportunities are available for a range of varied career opportunities within the education sector and for people studying full-time towards a university degree. Cadetships include a study allowance paid to each cadet during the period of full-time study; paid work experience (up to 12 weeks for every year of the program); and further support through mentoring.

Aboriginal Teaching Assistant Scholarships

Aboriginal Teaching Assistant Study Scholarships are offered to Aboriginal Teaching Assistants (ATAs) who wish to become teachers.

Financial assistance is available to ATAs to undertake an approved course of study on a pathway to teaching. Full scholarships are available to ATAs who are accepted into a Bachelor of Education or similar approved course, while partial scholarships are available to those wanting to study part-time or study approved non-degree courses.

Kimberley Calling

We are seeking teachers, open to the experience of learning, living and serving in the Catholic school communities of the Kimberley, who will inspire and engage each student of the Broome Diocese through the provision of a quality Catholic education.
