St Pius X Catholic Primary School is a parish-based, co-educational single stream school catering for students from Pre-Kindy through to Year 6. St Pius X was founded by the Sisters of St Joseph of the Sacred Heart and enjoys rich traditions and values from the order. These rich traditions are ever present in the day to day life of the school.

The school offers a holistic education aimed at the total development of each student in the spiritual, intellectual, physical, social and emotional areas. The school nurtures a strong pastoral care program to create a safe, engaging and challenging environment for all. The school caters for a range of diverse needs through many varied programs and specialist programs are offered in Music, Physical Education, Science, Languages, IT, Innovation, Gifted and Talented, Numeracy and Literacy. Students are encouraged to participate in extracurricular activities, including the performing arts, learning of musical instruments, sporting activities, and community activities planned by the local community organisations.
